John
3: 16-18
- Verse 16: God started with Love.
- Verse 17: Love is the opposite of Condemnation.
- Verse 18: The world is already condemned; we need to show it Love.
- This Love is unlike any Love we can show naturally; it comes from
God Himself.
WHAT
IS LOVE?
1 Corinthians 13: 1-8, 13 (KJV & AMP)
- We see here a detailed definition the characteristics of Love of
God.
- Even the gifts of the Holy Spirit must be operated with Love, or
they become empty.
1 John 4:7-8
- Nicknames (God = Love , Love = God)
HOW
CAN WE LOVE THIS WAY?
Romans
5:5
- There is no way that we could Love people the way He wants us to
in our own natural human love.
- He gave us the Love to Love with and what He gave us was His very
own Love.
Leviticus 19:18
- How can you successfully love anyone without first loving yourself.
You would be doing an injustice to everyone.
- Once we find out the way God thinks about us, then we can begin
to change the way we think about us.
