something for everyone
At Metro Life Church it is our desire to minister to every demographic in the most influential and effective way possible. Having many ministries to meet the needs of any person who walks through our doors is the way that we are able to do so. Below is a list of the ministries that are set up to give you everything that you need in your walk with God.
Metro Kids
At Metro Life Church we believe that children are one of the most important investments in the Kingdom of God. From infants to elementary, we take our time in training the lives of our children. Our ministry teams are highly trained, doing everything with prayer and sensitivity to the Spirit. With creative teaching styles, skits, dances, and anointed worship, we offer children an atmosphere for the Spirit of God to move upon their hearts. We allow children the opportunity to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, teach them the importance of worshipping our Creator, the blessings of being a tither and a giver, introduce them to the Holy Spirit, and make sure the Word is planted firmly in their hearts - we truly minister to the needs of each child, no matter their age.

Metro Youth
Teenagers from all over Acadiana gather together each week to experience a move of God in their generation. Through anointed worship, relevant teachings and relationship building, Metro Youth are finding their place in the local church. The MY leadership team is passionate about seeing this demographic on fire for God and experiencing an outpouring of His Spirit in their lives. Through weekly services, monthly Circles and annual events, the youth at MLC have plenty of opportunities to grow in their walk with God and get plugged into the church.

Young Adults
In the church world today, one of the most influential demographics are those that we call Young Adults. Whether you are in college or pursuing a career, newly married or single, Metro Life Church Young Adults has a place for you. Through quarterly services, monthly Circles and other events we offer the chance to develop long lasting friendships, grow in your walk with God and guidance for God's purpose to be fulfilled in your life. There are many areas within this ministry that are available to you to be a part of and find your place.

Are you looking to develop new friendships around the Word of God? Are you looking for times of refreshing and fulfillment with others believers your age? Are you looking to have fun and fellowship with others in your church and city? Then you need to join the Singles Ministry at Metro Life Church. There is something for everyone, no matter your background or condition. Experience the single life in a new way!

Metro Men
Men from all over Acadiana gather together to strengthen one another and to grow as men, husbands, fathers and followers of Christ. Through fellowships, prayer groups and our Annual Men's Conference, we are teaching men to take their place in Christ and in the local church. No matter your age, background or knowledge of God's Word, we welcome you to experience a life of fulfillment and purpose.
Prayer: 1st Monday of every month at 6:00AM
Metro Women
It is our heart to help women discover their purpose, grow in God and discover who they are in Christ. We believe fellowship and relationships are key in getting and staying connected to your church. No matter your walk of life we accept you with loving arms and welcome you to the family. The stresses of day to day life can drag you down so it is important have good Godly relationships to encourage you and help you through. Throughout the year we offer Book Clubs, prayer meetings, outings and an annual Women's Conference.
Circles
Circles are small groups that meet on a monthly basis in homes, venues, and local places around the Acadiana area for fellowship and discussion over the Word of God and everyday things. These small groups are a perfect way to meet new people, grow in your relationship with God, and build lasting friendships around the Word of God. We have something for everyone. Joining a Circle will be one of the best decisions that you can make. Friendships within the local church are vital to the strengthening and growth of your walk with God.

First Impressions
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. With that in the forefront of our minds every week, we do everything that we can to make people feel safe, at home, accepted, and comfortable here at Metro Life Church. Through our Ushers, Greeters, and Parking Attendants, we strive for an excellent first impression with everyone who walks through our doors. Music
Do you sing? Play an instrument? The Music Ministry at Metro Life Church is designed to provide our members a place to serve God using their God-given talents. Our goal is to dramatically communicate the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Due to the standard of excellence we have set, we require all prospective music team members to audition and uphold the accountability guidelines set by the Word of God and the leadership of MLC. Media
In the modern church today, utilizing every method possible to reach our generation is a must. Numerous studies have shown that using visual media to reinforce a message can increase retention by over 50%. Through multi-media, lights, cameras, sound engineering, and graphic design, we pack a powerful punch in our presentation to the local Body today. Whether you have training or not, this ministry will teach you the hands on experience in multi-media, helping you reach a generation through the use of today's technology. Missions
We do everything that we can to reach outside the four walls of our church. Sending missionaries all over the globe is one way that we have a part in world harvest. Every week, Metro Life Church gives a minimum 20% of everything that comes in through our offerings to world missions. We have seen thousands of lives saved, healed, and restored through our financial support to missions. gotcha
GOTCHA is an outreach of Metro Life Church geared towards showing people the love of God through random acts of kindness. This small act has been making a huge impact around the community and the Acadiana area. Drive-thru's, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and other venues have been the target for most GOTCHA's. Example: You pull through the drive-thru and pay for your meal and the meal of the person behind you, handing the cashier a GOTCHA card. Once the person behind you pulls forward to pay, they are handed a GOTCHA card from the cashier and are told that their meal was paid for by the card ahead of them (you). It's that simple!
You don't have to stop there! What about mowing your neighbors lawn or washing their car. Acts of kindness are unlimited and as creative as you want them to be. Get out there and start spreading the love of God and bringing smiles to the faces of those around you. Watch out, you may be the next person to receive a GOTCHA card!
Our GOTCHA ministry also reaches into our inner-city, providing Thanksgiving meals and Christmas presents for families who are in need. Through these events we have had the amazing opportunity to pray with communities to receive salvation and start their walk with the Lord.
In Christ International Bible College
This accredited school of theology offers an Associate Degree in Theology and a Bachelor Degree in Christian Ministry. Our lecture material covers topics such as "Divine Healing," "Principles of Faith," "The Holy Spirit and His Gifts," "Biblical Finances," and much more. These subjects taught with a spirit of faith will revolutionize your thinking and radically change your life! Whether you are called to the ministry or not, ICIBC will give you the knowledge and tools to grow in your walk with God and rise to higher heights in your faith.
